Fiss Tirol
Fiss has not more than 1.000 inhabitants, and is part of the tourism
region of Fiss-Ladins-Serfaus in the South Western part of Tirol.
The village lies about 500 metres over the valley floor on a hillside to the south.
Fiss is a tourism village since 1960. A blaze in the centre of the
village 1972 made the rest losing the character of an typical Tirolean
farmers village, and becoming an holiday destination with a lot of
hotels.
